Your work stays with you.
MneMuse was built to help musicians study their lessons without surrendering them to the cloud. We believe privacy is a fundamental design requirement, not a footnote. Our architecture ensures that your creative work stays where it belongs: with you.
1. What Stays on Your Device
Your recordings, transcripts, sheet music, notes, and lesson titles never leave your device.
Local Processing
All audio analysis—including transcription and classification—is performed locally using on-device models. No audio data is ever transmitted to a server.
No Central Server
We do not maintain servers to store your files. This means if your device is lost or damaged without a personal backup, we cannot recover your data—because we never had access to it.
Cloud Storage Sync
When you enable the cloud storage synchronization features, data will be stored in your personal cloud accounts (e.g., iCloud, Dropbox). MneMuse team will still have no access to this data.
2. What We Collect
We only receive technical data required to keep the app stable and functional.
Anonymized Crash Reports
We use Sentry to monitor app stability. When an error occurs, we receive a report containing the error type and a randomly generated, per-install identifier. These reports never include your audio, transcripts, file names, or personal content.
Subscription Data
All MneMuse Pro purchases are handled by Apple’s StoreKit. We receive a digital "receipt" confirming your Pro status, but we never see your Apple ID, payment details, or billing address.
3. What We Never Do
To keep our relationship simple, we have intentionally omitted common tracking practices:
No Accounts
There is no sign-up process, no profiles, and no email collection.
No Tracking
We do not track your usage patterns, attention, or behavior.
No Third Parties
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use marketing analytics SDKs.
4. Your Rights & Control
Data Deletion
Deleting the MneMuse app immediately removes all local data from your device.
Technical Data
You may request the deletion of any crash reports associated with your installation ID by contacting us through the app.
5. Contact
